CWA 'Get Out The Vote' Campaign 2006

CWA Local 7200 Legislative Chair Michael P Nguyen, and CWA MN State Council President Tim Lovaasen would like to take this opportunity to send a BIG THANK YOU to all the members who helped, whether door-knocking, phone banking, or leaflet dropping.

We have reason to celebrate - we, as Democrats, picked up more than two dozen House seats formerly held by Republicans, enough to give us control of the House for the first time since 1994.  Seats in the Senate were also gained. And last, but definitely not least, the first-ever female (Representative Nancy Pelosie of California) installed as the speaker of the House.
