“Operation Support Our Troops”

As one of 7200’s Community Projects, we have adopted 10 soldiers and our plan is to send packages on a monthly basis. These packages are filled with a variety of items which include, but not limited to: food, personal items, female products, practical items, and items the soldiers can share with the Iraqi children.

Below are some pictures and a letter one of the soldiers sent to Vice President Cindy Danley in response to receiving packages from Local 7200:

dear miss danley,

thank you very much for the packages, and i apologize for never sending a thankyou for the first one. it does mean a lot to all of us here to know that there are people back home who care enough about us to actually send us things to make our lives a little better without even knowing us. i have included a few pictures as you requested. im sorry that im not much of a photographer. if you would like, i should have more pictures soon, i just usually forget to take my camera on mission with me. i dont have any special requests, everything that you have sent is very much appreciated. if there is anything i can do to return your kindness please let me know.
